Songs From the Confessional Vol. IV

Deep breath, I am outting myself in this volume. Much like Echo, I berate myself for liking such trash, but I smile the second I hear it and sing along. I know better, but I am weak. God damn you, Daryl and John! God damn you to hell!

Odd, I never noticed how much Hall looks like Patrick Swayze, or like his younger, kind of pussy brother.

Oates just looks like a porn star.

I have lost all of my street cred now. I am pissed! Why did I do this to myself? Bauhaus one day, Hall and Oates the next. I don't think this is a "have your cake and eat it too" scenario.

Hall is a keyboard player for god sake! That's damning enough evidence right there! What was I thinking?

Oh plesae, you love love love 80's synth bands, how is a "keyboard" so different.

Plus, I hate to break this to you. You don't have street cred anymore, at least not with onyone under 20, look at your daughter.

and Finally, who the fuck cares anyway? Like whoever you want, tht is one of the few joys of not being 20 anymore.

Synthesizers are ironic, keyboards are just dorky. See, I can reason away anything. Besides, it's not so much the keyboard, as the keyboard player. Have you ever met a cool keyboard player? No. Probably not. Besides, keyboards are one quick step from the "keytar." [shudders]

OMG, I clicked on it again. I am my own worst enemy.

Have I ever met a cool kepboard player? Hmmm....Seems to me that there is a keyboard in your loft as we speak, and who in your house plays the keyboard? Could it be your husband?

because you know the "kepboard" is so much cooler than the keyboard.

Lu, you know that is not his primary instrument, but his instrument of torture. Fortunately, for everyone who lives here, he plays saxophone much more often. Saxophone=likey Keyboards =icky
