GET PLASTERED!

Hey, if you're bored and wondering what to do this Friday night, I suggest that you head over to Bill's Blues in Evanston on Davis just west of the tracks, where my friend, and local artist, Anne Elisabeth Hogh will be doing live casting. You can either go and watch people get plastered or you can volunteer yourself. If you love it, she'll turn it into a unique work of art for you. I'll be there from about 5 o'clock on. She'll be there from 4-close (really late and past my bedtime). Love to see some of you there.

it used to be there were no bars in evanston. now they have bars where people get naked and get dipped in plaster? i thought bill's was a blues bar.

Bill's has had to diversify their offerings in order to stay afloat. It's kind of sad. We know the owner. Anyhow, stop by if you can. As I said, I'll be there most of the evening.

Didn't you recently get plastered? Will Ten S As Art be on display?

You should have combined the male strippers and the naked plasterings...that would have been fun.

I left early, but the strippers were threatening to stop by later.

Beth-My casts are up at a gallery in Wisconsin.

You're saying Bill's isn't setting the town on fire? I think it's a great little bar. Their blues jam on Tuesdays is a busy, friendly affair -- which you can't say about a lot of them. It's a comfortable place (non-smoking) and they have great beer specials. I didn't realize it was a challenge for Bill's -- I'll go there more often.
