I love No Myth. I hear it on XRT every once in a while and it always makes me happy.

Fascination used to be a favorite dance number for me and MizBubs back in the day. Thanks for reminding me.

Great list@

Okay, I'm guilty-- I love "Lights" by Journey. It makes me think of the Bay, one of my favorite places in the world.

I love "No Myth" and "Brave New World" by Michael Penn. And I think it's the coolest thing in the world that he and Aimee Mann are married.

"She Sells Sanctuary" was on the jukebox at the old Danny's (still there, new owners). I'll be doing a post on great bars that are gone, and great bars that are still there, but suck now.

Johnny, in addition to my request for a review of maxtavern, (where tenS met Mr TenS, by the way) how about a review of the still there, but now sucky Daily Bar and Grill.

A very sensitive part of me that I never show kind of enjoys that Michael Penn song.

Sweet! I was driving home the other night after a very productive evening of drinking when "Since You're Gone" came on the radio. Bruised the heel of my hand drumming along, and bruised my throat shout-singing along.

Lu-It was popular about the time we had our apartment together, so it kind of reminds me of you.
Bubs-Fascination is my favorite Human League song. Wish I'd known you and MizBubs back then.
Johnny-Reminds me of the Bay Area as well, but more than that, it reminds me of high school. Even though I didn't really like Journey very much then, now when I hear it, it's like being in a time machine. Can't say I like it all that much now either, but appreciate its nostagiac effects.
Grant-If you're friends with my brother, I know you must be a decent guy somehwere underneath that steely exterior of yours.
Beth-I can't hear The Cars without remembering the show I saw with Lulu that shall henceforth be referred to as "The Mudslide."
