ALICE COOPER AND THE MUPPETS-Welcome to My Nightmare
I think I may have figured out what went wrong. Our family dined on a steady diet of The Muppet Show when I was a kid. How, I wondered, did I end up with such an appetite for all things gothic later in life? What in my childhood led me down this path? I think this may be the answer. By the way, Halloween is right around the corner. I am VERY excited!
Grant likes to dress up as the bride from White Wedding. It makes him uncomfortable to discuss the feelings that arise when he does so...wait a minute... that didn't come out right...
YAY! Halloween! The best holiday, the holiday that could only be made better if it involved fireworks.
ReplyDeleteWe're gearing up for it, yessiree.
I'm OK with no fireworks because I have my fog machine!
ReplyDeleteAlice Cooper's wife went to Luther, and now when kids go on band trips he and his wife volunteer as a host family. How great would that be?
ReplyDeleteSuddenly band seems so much cooler.
ReplyDeleteI dress this way just to keep them at bay, cuz Halloween is every day.....
ReplyDeleteWe need a muppet version of Rocky Horror. Instead of Audience Participation we can use Waldorf and Statler... Who's with me???
I'm all in. My hubby and I were Bert and Ernie for Halloween one year. He was Bert and I, of course, was Ernie.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, I didn't have you pegged for Ernie but then again, no.
ReplyDeleteI like the enthusiastic Muppet Show audience applause as Alice reared his painted head from the coffin.
Ernie is the prankster. Bert has no sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteand more importantly, Ernie is short, very very short.
ReplyDeleteHalloween has always been my least favorite holiday. Too goth. Too much makeup. Too much candy.

ReplyDeleteGrant, I was starting to trust you. Now, I'm not so sure, Halloween Hater.
